Why have William Hills odd not changed yet?
Why have William Hills odd not changed yet?
The opinions polls show labour are up to just 6 points behind the tories. That is hung parliament territory. Yet William Hill have not changed their odds so far from 1.5, which they had about a week ago, yet labours odds have been lowered.
Go on William Hill give me a chance.
I understand William Hill are a serious business. But no fair. Give me chance William Hill. LOL.
No offense to William, Hill that is just my view. I think you should increase the tories odds.

Does Political betting encourage corrption?
I do worry that betting on politics can encourage corruption in politics.
To be honest, I do bet myself on politics.
OK I am a hypocrite, I admitt. I do bet on poilitcis. But hey, I will not fix the results other people may do. So I am a concerned hypocrite. Yes, I will have 50 on that concerned hypocrite, each way. A true moral gambler.
Surely it increases the likelihood of some foreign betting ring fixing an election whether it be a few seats or a few opinion polls, or even assassinations.
Here are some possibilities.
Bribing the vote counters
What if some betting ring, or millionaire gambler bribes people doing the counting or deciding who votes, to change the result. All it takes is a few votes in a few seatas and that could change who the government is.
Assassinations caused by betting
What happens if some gangster gambler has a politician assassinated to change the results.
OK you could argue making political betting legal, decreases the likelihood of this as ;
Legal betting V underground betting
Legalizing gambling forces betting to be done in a legal framework with serious business people, rather than betting being driven underground to ruthless gangsters, done underground with criminal gangsters and organized crime gangs whose way of life would be criminal methods to get their result.
If betting was sent underground maybe as happened with Colombian football player, after the 1994 world cup assassinations would be more likely. After all what do the organized crime gangs have to fear from the police if they are already breaking the law by doing mass illegal betting gangs.
OK so maybe political betting should not be banned. Banning political betting would probably just take gangsters in control of it and increase even more the chance of criminal corruption in politics.
Conclusion
Hopefully political betting, or political gambling will increase assessment of results and decrease corruption by analytical types being able to spot dodgy results compared to opinion poll results. Maybe though politicians should be banned from betting on politics as they are in the know, and insider info is considered wrong, simply not fair play old man, as English people used to say.
I just hope we do not see any MPS voting for their opponents then deliberately losing their party votes, with silly scandals.

Betting on UKIP to win a seat
I think I will bet on the UKIP to win seats the next election with the expenses scandal in the seen.
I would expect them to do well.
I am not a supporter of the smaller parties, but I do feel they will do well due to the expenses scandal.
All it takes is one seat of over 600 where the tory - Conservative Party candidate has done something wrong on expenses, but where the left are not the desire of the type of people who live in a more wealthier seat. They may go for a UKIP candidate as a protest against local issues plus I expect more smaller parties and independents to win. It would be a massive surprise if there were not some losses to the smaller parties and independents. I would be shocked.
I found odds for 2-1, not 3-1, at William Hill for the UKIP to win a seat.

Betting on politcis
I have decided to start betting on what I do not want to happen.
I always find my best decisions are often done with either passion but some with lack of sentiment.
OK so William Hill on Feb 17 were doing 1.5 (1/2) for the tories to win.
No overall were 1,75.
My prediction is for some of the small parties such as the UKIP to win some seats due to the expenses scandal. That is 3/1
They seem to know more about the seats than you would expect.
Aberconwy - Seat Winner on William Hill was Tories 1.28 Plaid 4.5 Labour 9
I never would have thought the tories would be such favorites but William Hill will have calculated the ins and outs far more than most of us can. They will have factored in the new boiundaries and you do relaise the tories are closest in both places.
So it does look like the Conservatives are the favorites to win in this seat. It would take unlikely tactical voting to change this.

uk national lottery results
uk national lottery results
The National Lottery is the largest lottery in the United Kingdom. It is operated by Camelot Group, to whom the licence was granted in 1994, 2001 and again in 2007. The lottery is regulated by The National Lottery Commission. The National Lottery undertook a major rebranding programme in 2002 designed to combat falling sales. This resulted in the main game being renamed Lotto. However, the games as a collective are still known as The National Lottery. It is one of the most popular forms of gambling in the United Kingdom.
Six numbers are drawn from a set of individually numbered balls with numbers in the range 1–49, as well as a further bonus ball. Balls, once drawn, are not returned to the draw machine, therefore each ball (including the bonus ball) can only be drawn once per Lotto draw. Players choose six different numbers by a method of their own choosing at the time they purchase a ticket. Ticket issuing machines can generate a random set of play numbers as a so-called Lucky Dip. Prizes are awarded to players who match at least three of the six drawn numbers with increasing prize value for matching more of the drawn numbers. In addition to the six drawn numbers, an additional number is drawn as the Bonus Ball.

How to win the UK lottery
I have no idea how to win the UK national lottery
Here are some jokes on how to win it.
1. Dream you won it
2. Tell everyone you won it and get people to buy stuff by celebrating.
3. Buy every national lottery ticket combination.
4. Buy a national lottery ticket while the draw is being done. Then guess the last number.
5. Buy a winning ticket of someone.

arable land
In geography, arable land (from Latin arare, to plough) is an agricultural term, meaning land that can be used for growing crops. It is distinct from cultivated land and includes jungles that are not currently used for human purposes.
Although constrained by land mass and topology, the amount of arable land, both regionally and globally fluctuates due to human and climactic factors such as irrigation, deforestation, desertification, terracing, landfill, and urban sprawl. Researchers study the impact of these changes on food production.
